The scripture is my life at the moment.
I've not made this public so this will be the first time some have heard this little tidbit about my life, although it occurred nearly a month ago. My season on staff at Destiny has come to an end. Ron and I both felt led in this direction. My rule in life is to never leave a job unless you have one waiting. I broke that rule. I have peace with this decision with the occasional thought of "OH MY WORD, WHAT DID I DO?!?!" drifting through my brain.
The natural question everyone asks is "what's next"? Well, that's where this picture answers the question. I am trusting and waiting for what is still unseen. I'm applying for jobs which utilize my innate talents. While I'm waiting to hear from them I'm working on jewelry collections, I'm taking a few bookkeeping clients and I'm scheduling Vision Board group sessions.....and I'm dreaming.
I turned 50 this week. Not that anyone's counting but that's a half a century. With it came a fabulous party organized by my amazing husband Ron and my very sweet Festie Friend Glenna and her gorgeous granddaughter Alexandria.
Everyone keeps asking me if 50 makes me feel different. Why YES, I do. I do feel different. I feel something light and airy and fun and free and effervescent and new and bright and shiny. Maybe some of that is because I'm in a new season and the world is my oyster right now while I job hunt or decide to start my own business. I don't know. I'm not attempting to analyze it, I'm just soaking it in and living every moment with gratitude, curiosity, love, adventure and a half a century of wisdom.
So there, it's officially public. I'm job seeking, 50 and on an adventure while trusting and waiting for what is still unseen.
