| Welcome to all the new subscribers. I’m honored. A lot has changed in my world since my last blog and with all the new folks signed up to receive this blog, I thought I’d do a quick catch up. The mile wide creative streak in me will always show up no matter what I do. From jewelry design to marketing to business coaching to vision board workshops, it is ever present within me. My website and the blog both named ‘Blithe-ology’ were created for my jewelry HOWEVER, jewelry has become my hobby and helping people chase their legacy has become my main ‘thing’ in life. The word “Blithe” means joyous, merry or happy in disposition while ‘ology’ means, the study of. So, my company name loosely translated means… “chasing my bliss”. And this is exactly what I am doing. So back to updating ya’ll on what I’m doing now. Totally by accident, I discovered this concept of Vision Board Workshops. I threw one together for my girlfriends. It was an incredible experience. I was hooked. I really just thought it would be a one-time kind of thing. But then when I began to tell people about it, there was a ton of interest. So I did some research, had a focus group and started a business. It has taken off and I could not be happier. Not only am I ‘chasing my bliss’, but I am helping others do the same. It is without a doubt the most rewarding thing I’ve EVER done. I get a front row seat at my clients’ ‘aha moments’. Let me just share with you one comment and you’ll understand why I am so passionate about Vision Boards. |
Jennifer…just wanted to drop you a quick note about your recent “seminar” here at Post Oak Lodge. To be honest, I thought that it would be very similar to so many of such seminars that I have attended over my 68 years, but I was pleasantly surprised to say the least. In fact, once we got to the poster-board layout of our tear-outs from the magazines, I was and continue to be somewhat amazed as to the articles and photos that I selected, and even the way that I laid them out. Frankly, I didn’t think that I could learn basically anything new about myself after all these years…but I was wrong. After reviewing the board a few days later, it had such an impact on me that I decided to make a few changes in the way that I viewed the “rest” of my life, and how I wanted to pursue it.
Thanks again for the experience…Albert Klein, Director of Operations (Maintenance), Post Oak Lodge.
This brought tears to my eyes. Like I said, I get a front row seat to my client’s ‘aha moments’.
